Trade Fair Maison et Objet, NeXtime received a prize selected by auFeminin.com; a French website that aims to showcase products for the modern women according to the latest trends.
The “Chef” (no. 2925), designed by an American designer Steve Buss, was selected as Prix Découverte (Discovery 2009). The clock was selected based on original and simple design. AuFeminin.com found the “Chef” is a great gift, especially for houses with a retro decor.
The inspiration for the “Chef” came from Pop Art legend, Andy Warhol, and iconic graphics of the modern world, which Steve Buss is more rapt with its forms. “The humble can and whisk are sculptural delights to me. Put them together and let the dance begin!” Soup can joins up with a whisk and makes funky kitch or kitchen statement.
